A federal judge has appointed veteran prosecutor Robert Frazer as U.S. attorney for New Jersey, ending a dispute between the judiciary and Trump administration. Frazer was named to the position on Monday as part of an agreement between judges and the Justice Department. President Donald Trump's first pick for the job, his former personal attorney Alina Habba, was disqualified by a judge last year because she had stayed too long without Senate confirmation. Then last month, the same judge disqualified three Justice Department officials who were sharing authority over the office, saying they were appointed in an illegal power grab by the administration.
