Jews across Israel gathered in bomb shelters to mark the holiday of Purim as a precaution against possible Iranian missile attacks. The celebrations are taking place as the war with Iran expands across the Middle East. In Tel Aviv, people of all ages wearing sequined suits, bunny ears, pirate costumes and peacock feathers streamed into a mall’s underground parking lot, which also functions as a bomb shelter. They were there for the reading from the Book of Esther followed by a live band with dancing.
