Authorities say at least 10 people were killed and dozens wounded in clashes with police on Sunday after hundreds of protesters stormed the U.S. Consulate in the Pakistani port city of Karachi. The violence came after the United States and Israel attacked Iran and killed Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Police said the protesters have been dispersed, and the situation is under control. Karachi is the largest city in Pakistan and the protesters were minority Shiites in the predominantly Sunni Muslim country. Other protests were planned in cities across the country.
