Anti-government protests have erupted again at some universities in Iran, weeks after a deadly crackdown on previous nationwide demonstrations. On Sunday, Iran’s state news agency said students protested at several universities in the capital, Tehran, and at one in the city of Mashhad. The protests occurred around traditional 40-day memorials for people killed in the unrest in January. Meanwhile, Iran is bracing for the possibility of a U.S. attack, as the Trump administration pushes for concessions from Iran on its nuclear program and other issues. The U.S. has built up its largest military presence in the Middle East in decades.
