NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will bring rain and thunderstorms from the Ohio
Valley to the Gulf Coast today. The Midwest will be damp and
dreary with areas of drizzle and fog. Meanwhile, the Pacific
Northwest will have a brief break from the rain before
another storm arrives late in the day. Along the coast, it
will be very windy, which may lead to localized power
outages. A few snow showers can occur in the high terrain of
the Rockies from Montana to New Mexico. Otherwise, it will
be primarily dry. The Plains will be dry and sunny with
seasonable temperatures, but it will feel cooler with a
noticeable breeze. Areas along the East coast will be dry
with some sunshine while cloud coverage across the Northeast
may remain more persistent. California will be dry with
sunny skies to start the day.
