The big day may still be on the horizon, but some people might already be planning ahead to the inevitable clean-up in the new year.
To help residents dispose of their Christmas trees properly when the time comes, Liverpool City Council will be opening a number of recycling points across the City.
From Thursday, 2 January, 13 sites will be open for anyone wanting to drop off their real trees. The Council will then collect the trees for recycling.
The full list of locations is:
North Liverpool
South Liverpool
All sites will be open until the end of January. Please only use the official locations to drop off any trees, signs will be in place to direct people when they arrive. Alternatively, people can take their trees to one of the local recycling centres in Old Swan and Otterspool.
