Monday's arrest of Sean Diddy Combs by federal authorities comes after 10 months of allegations of sexual misconduct and other abuse by the music mogul. It began in November when singer Cassie, his former protege and girlfriend, filed a lawsuit alleging years of abuse. Many similar lawsuits followed. Combs denied the allegations. In March, authorities raided his houses on both coasts and said he was under investigation for sex trafficking. In May, CNN aired video of Combs beating Cassie in a hotel in 2016. He apologized but he was asked to return a key to the city of New York and Howard University cut ties with him.
