Interested in training for a new career? Liverpool’s Adult Learning Service is set to help new learners on the first steps of their journey with a series of information and assessment sessions.
Starting on Monday, learners can attend sessions at either Newsham or Granby Adult Learning Centres where their skill level will be assessed so that they can hit the ground running on a series of vocational courses.
Maths and English skills will also be included in the assessment.
The assessments will be focused on learners interested in the following courses:
Assessment days will take place on Monday 29 July and Tuesday 30 July and then from Monday 12 August to Thursday 15 August.
Sessions are held at both Newsham ALC, 83 Newsham Drive, L6 7UH, and Granby ALC, 79 Granby Street, L8 2TU, on each of the days from 9.30am-2.30pm.
Potential learners who would like to attend an assessment should pre-book by completing an enquiry form on the council’s website.
Courses are free if you are in receipt of benefits or receive income less than £33,958.60.
