If a political party does not come to power in the state for a long time, it often loses its interest in the greed of power. They always try to find the issue. After creating an undesirable atmosphere on the issue of quota reform, just when the government of Bangladesh was taking a very positive view, the camel group took the opportunity and ransacked the important institutions of the country. Especially the metro-rail, Setu (Bridge) Bhavan, Data Center, Narsingdi District Jail, Toll Plaza, BTV (Bangladesh Television), which are considered as a symbol of development and status of Bangladesh, are all symbols of Bangladesh's status in one way or another.
Many of the inmates they helped to escape from the Narsingdi District Jail were militants. It can certainly be assumed that the attackers already knew that militants were detained there. Then we are not left to understand who or what kind of miscreants have carried out these attacks. Basically those who are always engaged in destabilizing the country have taken the opportunity - no doubt about it. According to the intelligence sources published in the media, Jamaat-Shibir leaders and activists have come from all over the country and have settled in the vicinity of the capital of Bangladesh. Their target was to capture Dhaka. Jamaat-BNP wanted the quota reform movement to fizzle out as an expression of their anger and frustration at not being in power for a long time.
Not to mention here that recently BNP has held several programs demanding the unconditional release of Chairperson Khaleda Zia. But those programs were neither politically strong nor successful in that sense. Any movement can be brought home only if it succeeds politically. But BNP has not been able to bring any success for a long time. Politics can be wrong. However, we have to forget and stay out of politics again and again. It can be in the case of politicians or political parties. Their failure in many areas has reached the level of political bankruptcy. A party cannot attack the symbol of development of the country unless it is politically bankrupt. They can't even harm the life and property of the common people. At the very moment where the government is working for the development of the people of the country, the fact of hurting the development of the country and damaging the lives has made the countrymen alarmed.
The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has already put an end to the complications related to quota. Notification has also been made. 93% job opportunities are created for talented people. In honor of freedom fighters, martyred freedom fighters and heroes, there is a 5% quota for their children, but that too will be mainly applicable to the meritorious. Because the children of freedom fighters are not of suitable age to apply for jobs in Bangladesh at the moment. As a result, it can be said that there are 98% job opportunities for the talented. It is clear from this that the main demands of the students have been duly met.
When the quota reform movement reached its climax, the prime minister of Bangladesh addressed the nation and said from her belief that the agitators would not be disappointed by the court's verdict. The court's verdict will be in their favor. But we saw terrible violence in various important institutions of the country. One of their goals was to terrorize the countrymen and tarnish its image to foreigners by hitting the symbol of the country's development. The main objective of attacking the country's central data center was to isolate Bangladesh and the people of Bangladesh from the world network and sending false information to foreigner's through mobile or telephone.
It is clear from their attack that mainly KPI attacked the installations with special purpose. And it is not at all possible for anyone without a trained force to carry out such an attack. The same way Pakistanis attacked different parts of Bangladesh during the liberation war; this time too, attacks have been carried out. Even the barbaric attacks on the law and order forces cannot be expressed in words. Forced to save themselves i.e. self-defence, law enforcement forces have in some cases counter-attacked. When the law and order forces failed to control the situation, the government was forced to deploy the armed forces to assist the civil administration. Even curfew has been forced to protect the safety of people's property.
We can all guess how disastrous the situation in the country is when a democratic government expects the support of the army. Just as assets worth thousands of crores have been destroyed in those attacks, the curfew has disrupted the economy. The conspirators cannot avoid the responsibility in any way. When such horrific attacks and arson occur - no one is left to understand that these attacks are purely politically motivated. Especially looking at the situation at that time, it could be assumed that a group wanted the situation to become more critical on the issue of quota reform movement. And the more critical it is, the more it will be possible to make the common people stand against the government.
Naturally, when a government is in power for a long time, the general people expect more and more from the government. We know that it is very difficult to meet the total expectations as it is very relative. No matter how many expectations are met, human needs are endless. And in this opportunity, it becomes easy to implement the conspiracy to make the common people stand against the government. A cabal is desperate to prove Bangladesh unsafe by any means. In a democratic system, political parties are supposed to be considered as one of the safety nets of the people, but some political parties in our country are often considered as a security threat. Here, the anti-independence political organizations of Bangladesh constantly aim to put the government in trouble. Even if it endangers the lives of common people, they do not have a headache. Here the ugly competition for power is more noticeable.
