AUSTIN (KXAN) — Several City of Austin departments will be closed or have altered schedules on Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.
Normal business hours for all city departments will resume Tuesday.
Anyone with questions about city services can call 311 or 512-974-2000.
Curbside collections for trash and recycling will follow regular schedules. Customers can check their collection schedule online or using the Austin Recycles app. The Recycle and Reuse Drop-Off Center will be closed Monday.
Austin Water's Hornsby Bend Biosolids Management Plant will be open during regular hours for yard trimmings and large brush drop off.
All City of Austin recreation centers, senior centers, museums and cultural centers will be closed Monday. City parks, playgrounds, tennis centers and golf courses will be open on normal schedules.
Bartholomew, Barton Springs, Big Stacy, Deep Eddy, Garrison, Northwest and Springwoods Pools will be open. All city splash pads will also be open.
Utility Customer Service Centers will be closed Monday. Customers can pay utility bills online.
All locations will be closed Sunday and Monday. Remote library resources will be accessible through APL's website.
The center will be closed Monday and reopen on Tuesday.
