He continued, “I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.

“I’m committed to being a better man each and every day.”
He ended the one-minute apology by saying he was not asking for forgiveness.
“I’m truly sorry,” Combs said.
The apology comes just days after disturbing surveillance footage was released, showing Combs assaulting singer and then-girlfriend Cassie, born Casandra Ventura.
In the shocking clips first obtained by CNN, Combs is seen holding a towel around his waist as he chases after Cassie in the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.
She was seen waiting for an elevator with multiple bags.
Combs can be seen forcefully striking Cassie, throwing her on the floor, and kicking her as she lies motionless.
He then grabs her bags and continues to assault Cassie before dragging her across the elevator bank into the hallway.
A second camera angle of the assault shows Cassie slowly standing up and gathering her belongings after the attack ends.
Combs can then be seen sitting on a chair directly in front of her as she picked up a phone in the hallway.
Soon after, Combs is seen grabbing what appears to be a vase and throwing it at the singer.
The shocking actions depicted in the video appear to match allegations Cassie made in a lawsuit filed against the rapper in New York in November 2023.
In the suit, she alleged that in March 26, an “extremely intoxicated” Combs “punched her in the face, giving her a black eye.”
“Ms. Ventura tried to leave the hotel room, but as she exited, Mr. Combs awoke and began screaming at Ms. Ventura,” the court filing reads.
Diddy was hit with a wave of lawsuits in late 2023 and early 2024 with allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault. He has denied all claims against him.
“He followed her into the hallway of the hotel while yelling at her. He grabbed at her and then took glass vases in the hallways and threw them at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran to the elevator to escape.”
The lawsuit claimed that In the lawsuit, Combs paid the InterContinental Hotel $50,000 for the footage of the attack.
One day after the suit was filed, both parties involved settled.
While Cassie declined to comment to CNN on the newly released video, her lawyer told the outlet that it was “gut-wrenching.”
“The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs,” attorney Douglas H. Wigdor, Cassie’s said.
“Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
