NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms capable of producing hail and damaging winds
will stretch from southern portions Minnesota and Wisconsin
to northern and central Texas and Louisiana tomorrow. In
addition to potential severe weather, downpours can lead to
renewed flooding in eastern Texas, northern and central
Louisiana and central and southern Arkansas. Farther west,
strong winds and dry conditions will lead to an elevated
fire risk in eastern New Mexico and far West Texas. Rain and
high-elevation snow will fall in northern and western
Montana. Similar conditions are expected into northern
Wyoming. A few showers could dampen northern New England.
Summerlike heat will continue from the interior mid-Atlantic
into the Southeast, while New England and coastal areas stay
much cooler.
