THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A new program is offering a 10-week paid training and internship in health care in the Bronx, according to the new Jobs NYC portal.
Phipps Neighborhoods is running the program in conjunction with Hostos Community College and Montefiore Medical Center. The goal of the program is to train and hire community members through a 10-week program.
The program consists of three weeks of in-class learning and six weeks of an internship. According to the program's page, once you finish the program, you will be offered interviews and job opportunities.
