SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A Berkshire County man has pleaded guilty to firearm and child pornography charges in Springfield Federal Court Wednesday.
Brian Hohman, 60, of Sandisfield, pleaded guilty to one charge of possession of child pornography and one charge of receipt and possession of an unregistered firearm. He will remain in federal custody until his sentencing on May 2.
Hohman was arrested in September 2023 after police searched his home and found a sawed-off shotgun that was not registered to him and a laptop that contained child pornography. An investigation also revealed that he had two cell phones and a SIM card containing child pornography.
Hohman is a registered sex offender and is facing at least ten years in prison for both charges.
