It happened near the intersection of O Street and Half Street, around two blocks from Nationals Park just before 11:45 a.m., according to a social media post from D.C. police.
Three people are wounded and another has died following a shooting in Southwest, D.C. on Thursday and police are searching for a vehicle believed to be involved, a police spokesperson told WTOP.

Police are looking for a white Jeep Cherokee with a sunroof, white rims, tinted windows and an unknown plate.
Three of the wounded people are male and a fourth is female. Police did not say the ages of those injured or confirm the gender of the person who died at the scene.
Police did not describe the conditions of the three wounded people who were taken to the hospital.
WTOP Traffic reports that Half Street is closed between N street and O Street, as of 2 p.m., for the police investigation.
