Selena Gomez, best known for her hit pop songs and successful cosmetics company, Rare Beauty, was recently nominated for a Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy Golden Globe award for her role in the Hulu series “Only Murders in the Building.”
This is Gomez’s second Golden Globes nomination after being nominated last year for the same award. In 2024, she will compete against Ayo Edebiri for “The Bear,” Natasha Lyonne for “Poker Face,” Quinta Brunson for “Abbott Elementary,” Rachel Brosnahan for “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and Elle Fanning for “The Great.”
Throughout the years of attending parties, movie premieres and Hollywood events, Gomez has acquired a rich history of memorable shoe moments. To attend the 2017 American Music Awards, Gomez wore a pair of black Coach pumps. Embellished with small jewels, these simple shoes paired elegantly with her leather dress also by Coach.
To attend the 2018 world premiere of “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation,” Gomez wore a pair of silver Oscar de la Renta heels. The slinky metallic shoe, adorned with crystals, brought out the light hardware found in the rest of Gomez’s floral look.
Gomez arrived at the 2019 “Frozen ll” world premiere in a pair of chunky Marc Jacobs heels. The open-toe style was done in a metallic silver, which glimmered next to the actress’s sequined vest.
Gomez attended the 2020 Hollywood Beauty Awards in a pair of Aquazzura heels. The silver platform shoes featured a peep toe and front crossover strap detail.
To attend the 2022 “Only Murders in the Building” FYC screening and panel, Gomez wore a pair of silver Jimmy Cho sandals. The sleek style elegantly complimented her white Prada shirtdress.
Gomez arrived at the 2022 “Selena Gomez: My Mind And Me” world premiere in a pair of crystal-embellished Paris Texas mules. The shoe, featuring a pointed toe and thin heel, popped off of the star’s electric purple floor-length slip dress.
Gomez arrived at Variety’s 2022 Hitmakers Brunch in a pair of Totême mules. The chunky heels were done in a shiny black patent and featured a peep toe and tall block heel.
Gomez hosted the 2023 Inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit wearing a pair of slinky purple metallic heels. The shoes by Jimmy Cho were the perfect choice to pair with the actress’s bright purple Rahul Mishra mini dress.
To attend the 2023 MTV Video Awards, Gomez wore a pair of Jimmy Cho sandals. The simple shoe in a metallic cherry red featured a thin stiletto heel and ankle strap.
