Global shares are trading mixed although a strong report on U.S. consumer confidence and hopes the Federal Reserve is finished with its aggressive interest rate hikes sent shares higher on Wall Street. Shares are rising in early trading Wednesday in France and Germany while falling in Britain. U.S. futures are higher. Benchmarks finished lower in Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong and Shanghai, while rising in Sydney. Chinese property shares were sold heavily. Oil prices were little changed ahead of a meeting among OPEC members set for Thursday. Investors are also looking to upcoming U.S. reports for an update on inflation.
