A WOMAN in her 50s has clapped back at a troll who shamed her for the way she dressed.
She said she’s not going to let critics control her fashion sense or the way she sees herself.
Roslyn, a content creator in her 50s, clapped back at a troll who shamed her for the way she dressed[/caption]Roslyn (@howrosdoesit) shared the video with over 60,000 TikTok followers.
The content creator responded to a negative comment a viewer left on a previous video.
“Something happened in her youth leading to dressing so inappropriately in her older age, it hurts my eyes,” they said.
Roslyn, however, thought the comment was more inappropriate than the way she dressed.
“Nothing happened in my childhood, I had a very happy childhood, I have a very happy life,” she said.
“What I feel I can wear is totally up to me and the only opinion I really care about is my own opinion and I feel it’s sad you need to attack other women to make comments like this,” she added.
“You don’t know what’s going on in any woman’s life and to say that I had some sort of childhood trauma that caused me to wear inappropriate clothing… really?”
The fashion influencer turned the table on the troll: “What happened in your childhood that you weren’t taught manners as an adult?” she threw back.
“The only judge is the one in the mirror, I am fine.”
People flooded the comments to share their overwhelming support for her.
“Don’t ever stop being you!! Stay fabulous and beautiful! Your style is AMAZING!!!” said one commenter.
“You nailed it, that comment says more about the person who made the comment than it does about you!! Keep being fabulous,” said another.
