EASTENDERS fans are in shock after Phil Mitchell’s secret alliance was revealed.
The Walford hardman – who is played by actor Steve McFadden in the BBC soap – returned to the Square this week after fleeing abroad to hatch a plan to stop DCI Keeble from destroying the family.
Viewers know Phil left the Square earlier this year after making a phone call to a mystery person.
He was desperate to find a way to shut down vengeful police officer DCI Keeble and her crusade to destroy his family for the murder of her father.
And now it has been revealed who was on the other end of that phone.
Viewers were convinced it was his brother Grant – but that wasn’t the case.
In actual fact it was Keanu Taylor – the man Phil ran out of Walford permanently under pain of death.
Keanu famously had an affair with Phil’s then wife Sharon and got her pregnant with baby Albie – all the while being in a relationship with Phil’s daughter Louise.
The pair share a daughter, Peggy, together too.
And now it seems Keanu has found a way to get his children back in his life by helping Phil trick Keeble.
The plot was revealed tonight after the men had another fight in the pub in front of their friends and neighbours with Phil coming off injured.
“Cutting my lip wasn’t meant to be part of the plan, was it?” he said later in the Arches.
“Got to make it look convincing,” Keanu replied.
“No-one knows anything, Keeble ain’t got a clue.”
Phil told him: “She thinks the sharks are circling. But what she doesn’t know is they ain’t circling me.”
Fans are in shock at the reveal.
