Gino D’Acampo has revealed the X-rated secrets to making his marriage work, including a £2 sex guide from a charity shop[/caption]Sometimes – such as when discussing his 30 year relationship with wife Jessica – he mixes the two, with hilarious effect.
He said: “Sex is a huge important part of a relationship. I would say probably one of the most important. It is like having food.
“You’re having a wonderful experience with a dish but come on, don’t tell me that you’re now going to eat that dish every day, exactly the same. At some point, you’re going to get bored. Right?
“Now, I’m not saying changing the dish, I’m not saying change partner, but what I’m saying is, “Well, today you can cook your steak with chilli. Tomorrow, you can cook your steak with garlic. The day after, you can cook your steak with cream. Make an effort.

“The other thing as well is people always tend to have a quickie, as they call it. They say: “I had a quickie with my wife for this week. That’s done.” Well, what the hell is that? It’s like me getting a takeaway every day.”
He adds: “I’ve been successfully married for over 20 years. I have an amazing wife, I have an incredible family. I met my wife when I was 17 and next year I’m 47. We’ve been together since we were teenagers.
“I am not a professional love maker and I haven’t got any kind of documents or qualification to do that. The only thing I can say is from my experience I can tell you what worked and what doesn’t work.”
Gino, who has three children with Jessica, swears by keeping things spicy in the bedroom…in his own unique way, of course.
He said: “There are many tricks to use to change things up and make it fun as well. I literally found a book from 1930. Now this book is like the Kamasutra. It’s a sex position book, but is done in a funny way.
“I got it in a charity shop. It was a couple of pound. I flicked through it. I was thinking: ‘This is funny.’ What I did, after a couple of days I went home and I flicked it through there.
“Jess got very interested in some of the positions because they were funny. We wanted to see if we could actually do it and this is how it happens.”
