The Nation's Weather for Saturday, November 13, 2021
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Colder air will allow rain showers to mix with snow across
the Great Lakes and interior Northeast today. Only rain will
fall farther to the east, but gusty winds and small hail can
accompany some of the heavier downpours in western
Massachusetts, western Connecticut, southeastern New York
and northern New Jersey. The next storm will blanket
northern and eastern North Dakota and much of Minnesota with
a light accumulation of snow. In the warmer air, a couple of
rain showers will dampen eastern Montana. Mainly rain is
also expected in South Dakota, although some snow could mix
in with the rain in the northeastern part of the state. The
Northwest will dry out briefly before more heavy rain again
raises the risk for flooding overnight in western and
central Washington state.
