Tottenham are reportedly ready to allow top Newcastle target Dele Alli to leave the club when the transfer window reopens in January.
The attacking midfielder was back in favour under new boss Nuno Espirito Santo at the start of the season. However, he is now being frozen out again and was not even included in the squad for the Carabao Cup win at Burnley, along with Harry Winks.
PSG, who are managed by former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, were strongly linked with the 25-year-old back in January and over the summer. However, Daniel Levy decided at the time that he didn’t want to lose one of the club’s top assets.
But things have changed over the last few weeks, with The Athletic stating that Levy is now open to a sale.
Alli only started 16 games in all competitions last term, but under Nuno his form appeared to be coming back.
However, he was hauled off at half-time of the 3-1 defeat against Arsenal in September and hardly had a look in since.
Alli currently has just under three years left on his contract, meaning Tottenham can command a decent fee. But the England international’s dramatic fall from grace means a bargain exit is more likely.

With that being the case, Spanish outlet Sport claimed earlier this month that Newcastle are ready to swoop.
Alli was a target for Newcastle back in 2015 before he made the switch to Spurs from MK Dons. And it would appear that fresh from their takeover, the Toon are ready to try again.
The club’s owners are looking for more goals from midfield, and Alli fits the bill. He has scored 91 goals and added 76 assists in 350 career appearances.
A move to the North East would certainly revitalise his career. However, it remains to be seen if the player himself would be open to the switch.
