There’s a good bet that he’ll miss at least their next game, which takes place on Monday vs. the Mavericks. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was also recently shut down due to a foot injury, which leaves the Thunder without two of their typical starters in the backcourt. That’s going to open up a ton of usage for the rest of the roster.
Theo Maledon should play big minutes at point guard, and he’s increased his usage rate by a team-high +3.9% with Gilgeous-Alexander, Dort, and George Hill off the court this season. He’s averaged 0.74 FanDuel points per minute in that situation, so he’ll have a chance to provide some fantasy value.
Al Horford has also seen a sizable usage bump with all three players off the court, and he’s also served as one of the Thunder’s primary distributors in that situation. That said, Horford has only suited up in two of the Thunder’s past seven games. OKC is clearly playing for the future at this point, so expect Horford to get plenty of rest of the second half of the season.
