Following a delay from its initial 2020 release window, long-awaited Bond villain simulator sequel Evil Genius 2 will be available in March 2021.
Bond villain simulator Evil Genius 2: World Domination once again has a solid release date, revealed in a new trailer by developer Rebellion Developments. Coming in late March, the return to the long-dormant series is finally back on its feet after a delay in 2020, which pushed it into the first half of this year.
In a trailer, Rebellion reveals that Evil Genuis 2: World Domination will now launch on March 30, a great outcome for prospective players that may have expected a summer launch. Always keen to play up its satirical spy movie-inspired charm, the trailer is loaded with the usual humor that players have been looking forward to for the better part of two decades since the original game's PC release. Players can find and wishlist Evil Genius 2: World Domination on Steam.
The developer and publisher behind the Sniper Elite and Zombie Army franchises, Rebellion has a reputable track record as a double-A mainstay in the industry, so fan hopes are running high that the studio recaptures and refines what they enjoyed in 2004's Evil Genius. Announced in 2017 and debuted at E3 2019 with a trailer, players will be designing the supervillain lairs of their twisted fantasies and robbing the world blind in Evil Genius 2, and they'll be doing so much sooner than some may have anticipated.
Evil Genius 2: World Domination will be available for PC on March 20, 2021.
