_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
The stalled out storm system that has plagued portions of
the Southeast and mid-Atlantic in recent days will continue
to bring wet weather to many of the same areas tomorrow.
Locally drenching thunderstorms could prompt flash flooding
in spots, especially across the Carolinas and Virginia.
Farther north, New England can expect another dry day with
mainly sunny skies. Across the center of the country,
afternoon thunderstorms will erupt across portions of the
Plains and Midwest, some of which will be severe. Another
storm system will continue to bring cool and unsettled
