Mediterranean wrap places seem to be on every other block these days, but one of the pioneers - and still one of the best I've tasted - is this nine-year veteran of Burlingame Avenue.
Kofte ($11.95) brings several juicy ground lamb and beef patties, while bechamel-topped moussaka ($11.95) is outright decadent, the traditional eggplant and ground beef getting an extra layer of potato.
The vegetable comes in three more starters: stuffed with bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic, onion and parsley, and moistened with tomato sauce ($6.50); a room-temperature saute with tomato and bell peppers ($5.50), and roasted and smoothed into a barely smoky baba ghanoush ($6.50).
