"When they told us (about the game), I was thrilled,'' Ratliff said. "I have so many people coming, I don't know how many people, at least 30 coming to watch me play."
The family and friends who show up for Ratliff that day could see a player who fills a bigger role than he did in his Saints debut a year ago.
Essentially a designated 3-point shooter under Jamion Christian, Ratliff said he's enthused to see what he's capable of in new head coach Carmen Maciariello's system.
"I feel like last year I was a good shooter, but just strictly restricted to that,'' Ratliff said. "This year, I'm going up and down and getting to the basket. I feel like Carm's play is perfect for me."
