LOVE Island viewers tonight turned on Lucie when she said she’s only “here to find a boyfriend” after a clash with Amy.
The surfer was pulled up for spending too much time away from the girls with partner Joe.
Unhappy about the criticism, Lucie told the Beach Hut: “I still go over to the girls so I don’t know where she’s come from in that way.
“I’m here to find a boyfriend, so that’s what I’m going to be doing.”
Annoyed fans reacted about her bizarre reaction.
One said: “Lucie: ‘I’m in here to find a boyfriend & that’s what I’m gonna do’. Yes love but you can make friends too, why do some girls think it’s one or the other, you can have both #LoveIsland.”
Another said: “Lucie’s being one of them girls that cuts their mates off when they get a man.
“So if it goes tits up who you going to hun? Balance is key – time with your boyfriend and time with your girls #LoveIsland.”
Someone else joked: “‘I’m here to find a boyfriend’. Yea Lucie but who’s gonna be there for you when Joe tries to kidnap you? Ermmmm, the girls #loveisland.”
Another said: “Amy: Hey Lucie come chat to us we barely see you anymore
“Lucie: Im here to find LOVE amy I want a BOYFRIEND maybe you’re delusional but I wanna find my HUSBAND #loveisland.”
A fan added: “Lucie’s deffo one of those girls who will make an excuse to leave her mates to go and see her boyfriend #loveisland.”
Someone else chimed: “Lucie’s rationale of ‘I’m here to get a boyfriend” for not spending time with the girls has the same energy as those ‘I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to be america’s next top model’ bitches #LoveIsland.”
A viewer added: “Lucie gives that vibe she’s one of those girls that ditches her friend once she gets a boyfriend.. #loveisland.”
Despite Amy encouraging Lucie to spend more time with the girls, her advice fell on deaf ears.
