HENDERSON, Texas (AP) — Police say two people have been fatally shot and two wounded at an East Texas apartment complex and a suspect has been captured in Louisiana.
A Henderson police statement says 62-year-old Randy Buford Winn of Henderson was arrested Sunday night in Bienville (bee-EN'-vil) Parish, Louisiana, a few hours after the gunfire. Jail records didn't list an attorney to speak for Winn, who was being held without bond Tuesday on a Texas murder warrant.
Police didn't immediately provide a possible motive for the shootings or any relationship between Winn and those who died — 31-year-old Justin Smith and 37-year-old Holly Jones.
Two wounded adults were hospitalized in stable condition.
