Camper said he's been tweaking his form ever since a Jan. 14 loss to Monmouth, which Siena plays again on Thursday night in West Long Branch, N.J.
The Saints (9-11 overall, 4-3 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) have won three games in a row since that 63-60 overtime defeat to the Hawks at Times Union Center. In that game, Camper missed seven of eight free throws and senior forward Evan Fisher missed a pair trailing by a point with nine seconds left in overtime.
"We're definitely looking forward to (the rematch),'" Camper said. "It was a good game. Like you said, if I made four more of those free throws we would have won the game, but I'm not going to put it all on myself. It's definitely a collective effort. There are some stops we could have gotten. So the little things, just attention to detail, next go-around we'll get it right."
Since then, Camper said he's looked at foul-shooting videos online. He's staggered his stance, putting one foot in front of the other to take pressure off his shoulders.
