Neiman Marcus Chief Merchandising Officer To Depart In March
Neiman Marcus Group President and Chief Merchandising Officer Jim Gold will leave the retailer in March after 28 years with the company. Previous positions with Neiman Marcus include serving as President of Bergdorf Goodman from 2004 to 2010, according to The Dallas Morning News. Gold’s separation agreement includes a $1.12 million payment divided into three installments, and a "non-competition, non-solicitation of employees, and non-disparagement covenants," according to a company filing.
Neva Hall, EVP for Neiman Marcus Stores, also is planning to leave the retailer in March. She oversaw the upcoming store opening at Hudson Yards in New York City. Hudson Yards, the new high-end shopping center, will host the Store Tours portion of the 2019 Retail Innovation Conference on May 6.

Scott Emmons, Founder and Director of the Neiman Marcus iLab, left the retailer earlier this month to take the CTO position at TheCurrent Global. There, he will oversee an ecosystem of global startups and tech partners, managing their integration with brand and retail clients.
However, Neiman Marcus’ recent leadership changes haven’t all been departures: the luxury retailer hired Katie Mullen to the newly created role of Chief Transformation Officer in November 2018. She is tasked with spearheading CEO Geoffroy van Raemdonck’s transformation plan, commercializing new ideas and handling program and change management and corporate communications.
