High school basketball: C-M girls win outright title; PT makes playoffs
Madison Clair scored 14 points, Sam Miller added 11 and the Canon-McMillan girls won the Class 6A Section 2 championship outright with a 58-29 thumping of visiting Connellsville on Friday night. Twelve Big Macs scored in the game. Canon-McMillan, which won the second section championship in program history, led 18-6 after one quarter and 36-13 at halftime.
