GOODYEAR, Ariz. — Talk about your mixed signals. The riddle that is Roki Sasaki does not look any easier to solve after his second spring start on Tuesday. Sasaki couldn’t throw strikes and didn’t retire a batter in the first inning against the Cleveland Guardians. He walked three and gave up a single and a grand slam. Only eight of his 23 pitches (before Dodgers manager Dave Roberts pulled him from the game) were strikes with many of the misses wildly off the plate.
