Oklahoma's football team is tied with Navy 14-14 after three quarters at the Armed Forces Bowl at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday.
The Sooners got the ball to start the game and marched 65 yards in nine plays to a touchdown.
Gavin Sawchuk scored on a 21-yard touchdown to cap the opening drive, the first OU touchdown on their first possession in eight games, and it was 7-0 with 11:33 to play in the first quarter.
Navy got a first down on their first possession, with a 32-yard pass from Blake Horvath to Nathan Kent.
The Midshipmen moved the ball to the OU 41-yard line but had to punt.
The Sooners then went 85 yards in six plays, doubling their lead on an ad-lib play by Michael Hawkins.
Hawkins scrambled to get some time to pass, then found Zion Kearney for a 56-yard touchdown to put the Sooners up 14-0 with 5:56 left in the first quarter.
On Navy's ensuing possession, quarterback Blake Horvath gained 37 yards on a run to get into OU territory.
On 4th and 5 from the OU 25-yard line, Navy went for it, but Horvath's pass was incomplete and the Midshipmen turned the ball over on downs.
Early in the second quarter Oklahoma was lined up to punt, but faked it and got a first down.
Punter Luke Elzinga took the snap and threw a jump pass to Woodi Washington, who gained 28 yards to the Navy 29-yard line.
Oklahoma could not capitalize, however, as Xavier Robinson was stopped for no gain on 4th and 1 from the Navy 20-yard line and the Midshipmen took over on downs.
After a 70-yard Navy punt, OU took over on their own 8-yard line and advanced to their own 45, but once again on 4th and 1, were stopped short of the first down as Hawkins was tackled for no gain.
The Midshipmen then put together their first scoring drive, going 45 yards in six plays.
On 3rd and 1, Horvath passed to Cody Howard for 21 yards to the OU 15-yard line.
Alex Tecza finished the drive with an 11-yard touchdown run to cut the Sooner lead to 14-7 with 3:40 left in the first half.
Oklahoma's next drive lost six yards and Elzinga's punt was just 11 yards, giving Navy the ball on the Sooner 40-yard line.
The Midshipmen were forced to punt, and then Oklahoma moved the ball to the Navy 46 before the clock ran out to end the first half.
The two teams exchanged punts to start the second half, then on Navy's second possession, the Midshipmen had a two play scoring drive going 96 yards, with Horvath keeping for a 95-yard touchdown to tie the game 14-14 with 3:49 left in the third quarter.
Horvath's run was the longest in Navy history and the longest opponent play against Oklahoma in a bowl game.
Oklahoma gave the ball back on their next snap, as Hawkins was hit by Colin Ramos and fumbled, with the ball recovered by Andrew Duhart at the OU 26-yard line.
Navy could not take advantage of the turnover, however, as Nathan Kirkwood was wide right on a 38-yard field goal attempt and it stayed 14-14 with 2:07 to play in the third quarter.
On the ensuing possession, it appeared OU had taken the lead on a 56-yard touchdown run by Hawkins, but the play was nullified by a holding call against the Sooners.
This is the second meeting between the two teams.
Navy beat OU 10-0 in Norman in 1965.
