The College Football Playoff quarterfinal round will see the No. 4 Texas Longhorns (12-2) meeting the No. 10 Arizona State Sun Devils (11-2) in the Peach Bowl at 1 p.m. ET in Atlanta, Georgia. Texas is favored in the matchup, by 13.5 points.
The Longhorns beat the Clemson Tigers 38-24 in their most recent outing. The Sun Devils’ most recent outing finished in a 45-19 win over the Iowa State Cyclones. Against the Tigers, Quinn Ewers led the Horns with 202 yards on 17-of-24 passing (70.8%) for one touchdown and one interception. Jaydon Blue totaled 146 rushing yards on 14 carries (10.4 yards per carry), scoring two touchdowns on the ground. He added two catches for 31 yards. Gunnar Helm led the receiving charge against the Tigers, catching six passes for 77 yards and one touchdown. Sam Leavitt’s performance for the Devils against the Cyclones included 12-of-17 passing for 219 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He rushed seven times for 33 yards and one touchdown. Cameron Skattebo put together a 16-carry, 170-yard game (10.6 yards per attempt) with two touchdowns, while also adding two receptions for 38 yards and one touchdown. Melquan Stovall caught four passes for 91 yards (22.8 yards per catch).
