Tyson Fury says he’ll be a different fighter for Oleksandr Usyk rematch as he’s set on winning by knockout.
Tyson Fury tells Fight Hub TV that he’s going to be a different fighter heading into this weekend’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, saying he’s much better prepared for this fight than he was the first time around. While Fury insists that he doesn’t want to make excuses for losing the first fight, he says he’ll be much improved this time around and fully expects a knockout win.
“Knock a motherf-cker out. That’s it. That’s what me and Sugar’s planning on, get him out of there. I did everything great last time, didn’t get it, was a close fight. This time it’s going to be a different fight. I’m going to be a different person, different fighter. (I was) 40% last time, I’m 110% this time.”
“I did do some sparring but not as much as I’d want to...I don’t want to make any excuses, but let’s just say the real Tyson Fury will turn up on Saturday night.”
“I believe I’m going to knock him out. I don’t think I’m going to do it, I know I’m going to do it for sure. When he comes on the attack, I’ll annihilate for sure. I’ve always been the dauntless of the waters of the heavyweight division and proved it time and time again. And I’m here now to put on an excellent show and regain everything that I’ve just lost.”
“I’m the heaviest that I’ve been in years. I’m like 295 lbs, but solid. I’ve been working on a few abs, you know what I mean.”
“I was thinking ‘show me the money!’...I’m a prizefighter and that’s what I do. So if Klitschko wants another hiding, I’m the man to do it.”
