The Beterbiev vs Bivol rematch will be on PPV, but at a much lower price than American consumers have become accustomed.
With official word that a big Feb. 22 card headlined by the rematch of Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol having been set in Riyadh, Turki Alalshikh took to social media to say he wants the event to be accessible to fans the world over.
To that end Alalshikh has announced that he plans to price the card no more than £19.99 in the UK and no more than $25.99 within the US. Alalshikh says he wants as many fans as possible to be able to enjoy the stacked card which will feature Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker, Shakur Stevenson vs Floyd Schofield, Vergil Ortiz vs Israil Madrimov, Zhilei Zhang vs Agit Kabayel, and more.
There’s been a lot of early hype surrounding this card, with some going so far as to say it will be the best fight card in history, but I’ll leave that up to you fans to decide on that for yourselves. It is, however, an undoubtedly good card that would present good value for the intended price point.
