The Florida State Seminoles (2-9) are in action on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium against the Florida Gators (6-5).
The Gators beat the Ole Miss Rebels 24-17 in their last outing. The Seminoles are coming off of a victory over the Charleston Southern Buccaneers by the score of 41-7. In that matchup with the Rebels, DJ Lagway had 180 yards on 10-of-17 passing (58.8%) for the Gators, with two touchdowns and one interception. Montrell Johnson rushed for 107 yards on 18 carries (5.9 yards per carry) and one touchdown. Elijhah Badger led the receiving charge against the Rebels, catching five passes for 87 yards and one touchdown. Luke Kromenhoek threw for 209 yards for the Noles against the Buccaneers, going 13-for-20 (65.0%) with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He added eight carries for 31 yards. Kam Davis carried the ball nine times for 39 yards. Ja’Khi Douglas caught three passes for 82 yards (27.3 yards per catch), scoring one touchdown.
