The Arizona State Sun Devils (9-2) take on the Arizona Wildcats (4-7) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET, in a matchup between two of the best offensive performers in college football in Cameron Skattebo and Tetairoa McMillan.
The Sun Devils enter the matchup after winning 28-23 over the BYU Cougars in their last outing on Nov. 23. The Wildcats are coming off of a 49-28 loss to the TCU Horned Frogs. Sam Leavitt threw for 247 yards, with one touchdown and one interception on 16-of-25 passing (64.0%) for the Devils in that matchup against the Cougars. Skattebo carried the ball 28 times for 147 yards (5.3 yards per carry) with three touchdowns on the ground. He added three receptions for 12 yards. Jordyn Tyson led the receiving charge against the Cougars, catching nine passes for 125 yards. Noah Fifita threw for 284 yards for the Cats against the Horned Frogs, going 29-for-44 (65.9%) with two touchdowns and one interception. Quali Conley carried the ball 13 times for 42 yards. He caught three passes for 19 yards. McMillan recorded 115 yards through the air after nine catches (on 14 targets).
