The Tigers have suffered a second-half slide that has seen them bottom out of the US LBM Coaches Poll, in which they currently hold on to one last solitary vote. At 6-4 overall and 3-3 in conference play, LSU will play in a bowl game but it will not be the CFP appearance they had hoped for.
The Commodores have had a commendable season — particularly by their low standards — putting together a 6-4 total tally of their own also with a 3-3 record against other SEC schools. Vandy has been the upset king this fall and at one point cracked the Coaches Poll top 25.
