Xiao Long woke up the crowd at UFC Fight Night 248 with a brutal knockout of Quang Le.
After a back-and-forth bantamweight bout over more than two rounds, Long (27-8 MMA, 1-1 UFC) closed the show in the final frame when he connected with a clean 1-2 punch combination that dropped Le (8-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) to his back. He followed up with a pair of shots to turn the lights out, and referee Mike Beltran stopped it at the 1:28 mark of Round 3.
It was a strong performance from Long for his first octagon triumph, and you can check out the replay of the stoppage below (via X):

After the fight, an enthusiastic Long said he’s ready to make his mark in the 135-pound weight class.
“I’m so happy to fight in my homeland and be here in Macau,” Long said in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. “First of all Dana (White), I want $50,000 (bonus). I want $50,000. … I want top 15.”
