Tyler Warren will lead the Penn State Nittany Lions (9-1) into their matchup against the Minnesota Golden Gophers (6-4) at Huntington Bank Stadium on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
The Nittany Lions enter the matchup after winning 49-10 over the Purdue Boilermakers in their last game on Nov. 16. The Golden Gophers’ last game was a 26-19 loss to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Drew Allar threw for 247 yards, with three touchdowns and no interceptions on 17-of-19 passing (89.5%) for the Lions in that matchup against the Boilermakers. He also added four carries for 22 yards. Warren totaled 63 rushing yards on three carries (21.0 yards per carry), scoring one touchdown on the ground. He also had eight catches for 127 yards and one touchdown. Harrison Wallace III had 54 yards on two catches (27.0 per reception) with one touchdown in that game. Max Brosmer went 27-for-45 with 262 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Gophers against the Scarlet Knights. Darius Taylor carried the ball 10 times for 28 yards (2.8 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. In the passing game, he added two catches for -3 yards. Jameson Geers caught eight passes on nine targets for 73 yards (9.1 yards per reception).
