The Golden Bears took on the Syracuse Orange in their most recent outing, falling 33-25. The Cardinal’s last game finished in a 38-35 win over the Louisville Cardinals. Fernando Mendoza threw for 225 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions on 22-of-34 passing (64.7%) for the Bears in that matchup against the Orange. Jaivian Thomas took three carries for 80 yards (26.7 yards per carry) and one touchdown. Jonathan Brady recorded six receptions for 54 yards (averaging 9.0 per catch), while scoring one touchdown against the Orange. Ashton Daniels totaled 298 passing yards while going 22-for-33 with three touchdowns and one interception for the Cardinal against the Cardinals. He added 22 carries for 34 yards. Cole Tabb put together an 11-carry, 35-yard game (3.2 yards per attempt). Emmett Mosley V registered 168 yards through the air after 13 catches (on 14 targets), with three touchdowns.
