Alexandre Pantoja is headlining his second UFC pay-per-view of 2024.
On Dec. 7, Pantoja puts his flyweight title on the line against Kai Asakura in the main event of UFC 310, and on Thursday the promotion revealed the fight poster for the final PPV event of the year. The official fight poster shows Pantoja and Asakura taking center stage, along with the co-main event bout between Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Machado Garry.

Joining the UFC in 2017, Pantoja finally won the flyweight last year when he took home a split decision win over Brandon Moreno at UFC 290. He’s since made two successful defenses of his title with unanimous decision victories over Brandon Royval and Steve Erceg, becoming only the second person to score multiple title defense wins at flyweight.
Asakura is a two-time RIZIN bantamweight champion, most recently reclaiming the title with a win over Juan Archuleta at RIZIN 45 last December. The Japanese fighter is 21-4 in his MMA career and will be making his promotional debut.
In the UFC 310 co-main event, undefeated fighters Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Machado Garry put their records on the line in a five-round welterweight contest that figures to serve as a title eliminator bout.
Originally Rakhmonov was supposed to challenger 170-pound champion Belal Muhammad for the title in the main event of UFC 310, but an injury forced Muhammad out of the event. Garry, who was scheduled to face Joaquin Buckley at UFC Tampa in December, was then pulled from that bout to step in on short notice against Rakhmonov.
