Harlysson Nunes added a vicious knockout to his MMA record at ONE Friday Fights 88 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Brazilian featherweight entered the ONE ring for the first time to face Ilyas Eziyeu and handed the Russian a second-round knockout with nearly 30 punches and elbows to the head after dropping Eziev with an upkick.
The finishing sequence happened moments after Nunes and Eziyeu knocked each other down.

It looked like both fighters were in trouble as they landed competing hooks, though they quickly recovered from the wild exchange. Nunes then took advantage of Eziyeu’s aggression, catching with a heel to the jaw off of his back that set Eziyeu up for the stunning finish.
A protege of multiple-time UFC title contender Pedro Rizzo now based in Thailand, Nunes now holds a record of 8-2 with five knockouts. Eziyeu was 2-0 under the ONE banner going into Friday’s contest in Bangkok.
