Since returning to the Cleveland Browns’ lineup, Nick Chubb has been extremely … meh.
He’s not gone over 52 yards in each of his first four starts and has scored once. The receiving work hasn’t been there, as expected, but still — not great.
And now he’s facing a short week, some rain in the forecast AND … the fourth-best rushing defense in the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Though Chubb isn’t injured, it’s clear the back isn’t back to what he was pre-injury, which doesn’t help in fantasy football.
So: should you start Chubb this week?
My take is this: there are A LOT of byes this week. If you can find a replacement at your FLEX or RB2 spot, I’d go that route, but that’s going to be hard. So if you need to start him, expect double-digit carries and something like 50 yards.
