FABIO WARDLEY and Frazer Clarke do it all again TONIGHT, with their highly-anticipated rematch set to unfold in Riyadh.
The two Brits put on one hell of a show at the O2 Arena in their first bout back in March, with the fight-of-the-year contender ending in a split draw.
Clarke was knocked down in the fifth round before spectacularly recovering to open up a huge gash on the nose of Wardley.
The rematch between the two undefeated Brits promises to be a thriller once again as the bout shines on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol.
Wardley said: “The landscape, it’s definitely in a massive changing of the guard right now, with [Tyson] Fury losing, with [Anthony Joshua] losing, [Deontay] Wilder, [Joe] Joyce losing, [Derek] Chisora obviously winning but we know that he’s only got a couple left, so you don’t really throw him in that mix.
“A lot of the people that were at the top, or you would have said were next up, have picked up losses on the way.
“One-thousand per cent I’m in the mix. I’m one fight away from being in that top echelon.
“Clean out Frazer and then I’m in that mix, I’m the next one in question.
Clarke said: “[I will end the fight] within six [rounds], I think.
“I have just analysed the fight, I hurt him countless, countless times. It was just my follow up that was wrong, that was all. No big deal.
“I put a lot of work in and damaged him in a lot of different areas and then I saw it [the opening], chased him the wrong way and just kind of let him off of the hook.
“When I knocked him down in the fifth round, if that is the first minute of the round and not the third – I will get him out of there.
“There is no time in my career where you have seen someone hurt and I have knocked them down and I have not got rid of them. You have never seen that from me.
“Every opponent that I have ever faced has hit the canvas, so that speaks for itself in terms of being able to get people out of there.
“It’s perfectly within my realm, it is perfectly within my capabilities. I just need to be a bit more tidier in a couple of places and I have got it covered.”
