Star runner Ashton Jeanty and the Boise State Broncos (4-1) face the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (2-3) on Saturday at 11 p.m. ET at Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.
The Broncos head into the matchup after winning 62-30 over the Utah State Aggies in their last game on Oct. 5. Last time out, the Rainbow Warriors lost 27-24 to the San Diego State Aztecs. Against the Aggies, Maddux Madsen led the Broncos with 256 yards on 21-of-25 passing (84.0%) for three touchdowns and no interceptions. Jeanty totaled 186 rushing yards on 13 carries (14.3 yards per carry), scoring three touchdowns on the ground. Chase Penry led the receiving charge against the Aggies, catching four passes for 74 yards. Brayden Schager threw for 272 yards for the Warriors against the Aztecs, going 26-for-44 (59.1%) with three touchdowns and one interception. He added 16 carries for 21 yards. Landon Sims carried the ball eight times for 36 yards. He caught one pass for 10 yards. Pofele Ashlock caught eight passes on 17 targets for 77 yards (9.6 yards per reception), and scored one touchdown.
