One of the top wide receivers in college football will be on show when Tyler Warren and the Penn State Nittany Lions (5-0) take on the USC Trojans (3-2) on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
The Nittany Lions enter the matchup after winning 27-11 over the UCLA Bruins in their last game on Oct. 5. The Trojans’ last game was a 24-17 loss to the Minnesota Golden Gophers. In that matchup with the Bruins, Drew Allar had 237 yards on 17-of-24 passing (70.8%) for the Lions, with one touchdown and no interceptions. He also carried the ball four times for -3 yards and one rushing touchdown. Kaytron Allen totaled 78 rushing yards on 21 carries (3.7 yards per carry), scoring one touchdown on the ground. He added one catch for one yard. Liam Clifford had three receptions for 107 yards (35.7 per catch) against the Bruins. Miller Moss went 23-for-38 with 200 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for the Trojans against the Golden Gophers. Jo’Quavious Marks carried the ball 20 times for 134 yards and one touchdown. He caught four passes for 30 yards. Kyron Ware-Hudson caught five passes on six targets for 54 yards (10.8 yards per reception).
