September 12 – The Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) has applied for grants from a European Union aid programme to renovate and build stadiums and football bases in 40 Bulgarian municipalities.
The new executive director of the BFU, Andrey Petrov, said: “Everything is planned so that the federation functions in the best possible way. We desire to continue to implement the strategic plans, to communicate with the clubs and all interested parties in order to hear their opinion.
